NMDA calls off Oct 5 token closure of trade

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) has called off the proposed token closure of trade on October 5, 2019 following an emergency meeting held with the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur on Friday. 


A press release issued by NMDA informed that after deliberating at length on the problems faced by the medical fraternity, the DC Dimapur assured to redress their difficulties on time. Following this assurance, the Association said it has decided to called off the proposed bandh. 


The NMDA had decided to enforce a token closure of trade in an around Dimapur on October 5 from 6 am to 6 pm to make people aware of the various problems faced by the medicine dealers.
