NMSA general conference from July 8

Kohima, July 7 (MExN): The 24th general conference of Nagaland Medical Students’ Association (NMSA) will be held at ATI Complex, Kohima under the theme “Learn to serve humanity” from July 8 to 10.

Shanavas C, Deputy Commissioner, Kohima and Dr. Visasieu Kire, Director (Health) Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland will be the special guest and guest of honour respectively.

The inaugural session will take place on July 8 from 9:30 am onwards. Presidential address will be delivered by NMSA President, Dr Kuveluzo Soho. Speech will be delivered by special guest and guest of honour.

Panel discussion on Medical College & Employment and Medical Bond & Service Rules will take place at 2:30 PM.

There will be awareness cum blood donation drive in collaboration with Nagaland State AIDS Control Society, Blood Bank, Naga Hospital Authority Kohima and Red Ribbon Club, Baptist College, Kohima at on July 9 at 10:00 am.
It will be followed by awareness session on oral hygiene, mental health and blood donation.

Devotional service will take place on July 10 at 10:00 am. There will also be workshop session at 5:00 PM with Dr Sedevi Angami & team Director CIHSR. The session will talk on Christian perspective on bioethics and communications in health care- physical patient relationships.
