SENAPATI, OCTOBER 25 (MExN): The inaugural function of the 36th edition of the Northern Maram Students' & Youths' Organization (NMSYO) sports meet was held on October 24 at N Raisung ground, Maram Bazar on the theme 'Binding Together.'
MLA and former ANSAM president, J Kumo Sha and Northern Maram People's Organization (NMPO) president T Karaihing Abraham, graced the function as chief guest and host guest respectively.
In his address, Kumo Sha said one of the factors of binding together is to have 'love' for one another. Stating that to bind the diverse community of humanity, love and care is the basic principle he added that loving and caring of one another can heal every social misconceptions and mistrust, which can bring us together.
Host guest, Karaihing Abraham urged the players to take part at the ongoing sports meet with spirit of sportsmanship.
The NMYSO sport’s meet will culminate on October 31.
