Kohima, December 10 (MExN): The New Market Youth Organisation (NMYO) celebrated its 45th foundation day today here at New Market Panchayat hall in Kohima with Keneizhakho Nakhro MLA, Nagaland as the special invitee.
Gracing the celebration, Nakhro acknowledged the gathering for making him the representative of the constituency. He said that youths are the pillar of the future society, and divide and rule policy in the society must be abolished and make a competitive step towards unity with new changes for a reformed better tomorrow.
Pointing to unemployment situation, he said that it is one of the major crises, but there are multiple helpful approaches one can take to the situation that will help you get back on your feet, pick up a few new skills, and eventually find a job. “It’s important that you keep a good attitude and find new ways to pick up training and network,” he encouraged the youths.
He also urged the youths not to depend much on parents and find a self sufficient profession to increase superior knowledge and advise the NMYO to carry out a model youth organization and be a new example to other youth organizations.
Earlier, Avilie Punyu, visiting Pastor invoked God’s blessing, Vikholie Yiese, President NMYO delivered the welcome address, special number was presented by Justin Yiese and UCRC youth New Market, exhortation from Roukuobizo Nyusou, Chairman NMAP, vote of thanks by Khrieketoulie Metha and benediction was pronounced by Vira Seyie, Youth advisor UCRC.
