Dimapur, October 24 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) today stated that it endorses the impeachment of Brigadier (Retd) S Singnya as the Kedahge, Federal Government of Nagaland, at the Emergency Session of the Tatar Hoho of the NNC/FGN held on October 21.
A press release from NNC President Senka Ao and Vice President Bendang Sangtam further endorsed the election of Zhopra Vero as Kedahge and Hekhuvi Achumi as Kedallo of the NNC/FGN.
The elections were duly conducted as per the provisions laid down in the Yehzabo of Nagaland, during the Tatar Hoho held on October 22, it added.
The NNC also prayed for God’s wisdom, strength, and divine guidance for their leadership, enabling them to lead the NNC/FGN and the Naga people so that under their leadership, the “noble cause can move forward unhindered, and the Naga Nation may reach greater heights.”
