Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): The Naga National Council today stated that there is a controversy created by misunderstanding and misinformation because of communication gap between certain members of Sumi Region NNC and that the matter of seriousness has come to the Central Authority.
A press release received here from Mhasi Angami, Information and Publicity Wing of the NNC, in this regard, stated that the NNC with deep concern issued this clarification to clear all misunderstanding immediately for the best interest of all concerned.
“Yes, there is an urgent need to convene meeting of the Region to observe certain formalities for all purposes officially and this is yet to be done for the best interest of the Region in particular” stated the release.
The release stated that actually there is consultation between the Region members and the Central Authority for the meeting of the Region for better understanding for future programme of National interest and added that there should not be any misunderstanding of calling meeting for the same.
The release also further stated that this is to clarify that there is no question of calling meeting by one S Hekuto Ayemi of State Government servant of PWD Division or of any Department and such matter of misidentification should not come into picture to tarnish the image of the Region in particular and create further confusion in the mind of the general public.
“The Central Authority of NNC warns all the concerned members of the Region not to create further controversy in the Media, otherwise, necessary action will be taken against those who create further controversy in this matter of the Region of utmost concern in the Central level of Administration,” stated the release in this connection.
