NNC mourns demise of Captain YK Longshah

Dimapur, August 25 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) has mourned the demise of Captain (Retd.) YK Longshah of Throilu Village, Konyak region who passed away on August 23. A condolence message issued by its Joint secretary Acoyi Vadeo stated that “he was entrusted to the post of Central Executive Council member on March 10, 2010.” “His untimely demise is a great loss for the nation and irreplaceable. His service rendered for the Naga Nation will always remain alive in the eye of every Nagas,” the condolence also stated. It further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members, relatives and friends at this hour of grief and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.  

Meanwhile, NNC Member Thomas in a condolence message said, “I am proud of him that he served the Naga nation with integrity, sincerity and truthfulness since he joined the NNC/FGN in 1985. He served the Naga nation with utmost integrity and sincerity till his last breath.”  

“His good character and truthfulness will remain forever for the best example to the young generations to come,” his message also stated.
