DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 3 (MExN): In a consultative meeting held on September 26, 2024, in Dimapur, the councils of Kilonsers, Tatars, army wings, and secretaries unanimously voted to change the nomenclature of the NNC (Parent Body).
The organisation, led by President SS Pongokhu and General Secretary Francis Kikon, will now be officially known as the GPRN/NNC (Apex Body), a press release issued by its MIP.
It stated that this crucial decision was taken to “avoid confusion created by certain individuals tarnishing the good name and image of the national workers.”
