Tuensang, October 31 (MExN): The Naga National Council/Federal Government of Nagaland (NNC/FGN) has unanimously extended its full support to the leadership of Brigadier (Retd) S Singnya, Kedahge (President) NNC/FGN.
This decision was made at a meeting attended by Medan Peyu, Kilonsers, Deputy Kilonsers, Tatars, Leacy Hohos, and Naga Army Officers from the Chang Region on October 30 at the Tuensang headquarters.
After discussions, the House declared that the press statement made by Zhopra Vero in local dailies on October 21, which indicated the impeachment of Kedahge Singnya, is “null and void” as it is beyond the Yehzabo of FGN, stated a press release from T Loyem, Midan Peyu Chang Region, FGN.
Accordingly, the NNC/FGN also announced its stance to the Naga people, extending unanimous support to the leadership of Singnya.
