DIMAPUR, JUNE 17 (MExN): The Tatar Hoho (Parliament) of the Naga National Council/Federal Government of Nagaland (NNC/FGN) has said it has impeached and removed Gen (Retd) TM Rhakho from the office of Kedahge (Vice President) with immediate effect.
According to a statement, Lovito Yeptho, Deputy Kilonser and Speaker of the Tatar Hoho, said the decision was taken during an emergency session of the Tatar Hoho held on June 16 in Dimapur.
While acknowledging his long years of service to the Naga national cause, the Tatar Hoho expressed regret that Rhakho had allegedly deviated from the core principles of the Yezabo (Naga Constitution).
