Dimapur, November 29 (MExN): The NNC/FGN has refuted the press statement purportedly issued by Ministry of Rali Wali Affairs, Federal Government Nagaland on October 27 which was published on October 28 in local dailies.
In a press statement, the MIP NNC/FGN reported that the press statement starts with (quote), “Brig (Retd) led NNC/FGN was at first reluctant...” The NNC/FGN said, “Which makes us to question as to who this Brig (Retd) is? And as to who is confused.”
It said that NNC/FGN is aware that a Directive Ahza was issued on October 15, 2024 Date 18/10/24 to attend “the Emergency Cabinet sitting on 22nd October 2024 at Noklak Hq, Time 9:00 am...” which on 22nd October, 2024 transformed to “... Brig (Retd) S Singnya has convened an Emergency Meeting on 22nd October, 2024 (Directive issued on 15th October, 2024) at Sanglao village, Eastern Oking...” when the decisions were announced to the local dailies.
Further, as per the latest statement issued on October 27 by Ministry of Rali Wali, “While the Emergency Tatar Hoho was convened on 22nd October, 2024 at Sanglao, Eastern Oking...”
“The NNC/FGN wonders how the Emergency Cabinet Sitting summoned at Noklak Hq became an Emergency Meeting held at Sanglao village without further notification if it was not held only by a few individuals with vested interests, not to forget that it has become an Emergency Tatar Hoho in the latest write up. Words are indeed cheap and can be twisted at will by unscrupulous individuals,” it paused.
While maintaining that ‘service for the cause of our Nation is most noble and even sacrosanct, and true patriots deserve the respect and admiration of all,’ it stated, however, it is “against any individual and will not tolerate anyone who uses the Naga National Movement and the NNC/FGN as a tool to suit their selfish interests.”
The NNC/FGN “after investigations” said it “found proof without any doubt the immense influence of G Zhimomi alias Ghuvishe V Zhimomi alias Ghuvishe Sema.” It alleged that “astonishingly, he has three identities but unfortunately, he is neither trustworthy nor reliable.”
“It has been ascertained that he is the one who has been creating all the mischief and issuing the misleading Press statements and at the same time issuing threats,” it alleged.
The NNC/FGN added that “unfortunately” G Zhimomi is “Kilonser of Chaplee Affairs of the Singnya led government and also in-charge of the Ministry of Rali Wali of the same government.” The mobile contact numbers for the Chaplee Ministry and for the Ministry of Rali Wali are both owned by him, it claimed.
“Who knows what other responsibilities or mysteries he holds. He seems to wield enormous authority and responsibility in the Singnya led government appearing at times like a dictator, adept at writing provocative statements and has the habit of issuing threats in all his write ups disregarding his status as a Graduate Teacher, an employee of the Nagaland state government. But the time of reckoning is finally here and henceforth, he is to desist from misleading and stop threatening people once and for all,” the NNC/FGN stated.
The press release also alleged that G Zhimomi has “his eyes set only on the collection of tax; that till date he has never spent a sleepless night in the forest or struggled for survival nor endured the pain of an empty stomach not to speak of even walking a long distance on foot for the sake of the Naga cause.”
“It would be really unfortunate if he mistakes the patience and tolerance of the NNC/FGN as a weakness. The time has come for pseudo National workers like him to choose where their loyalty lay, give their full and undivided attention on their tasks, stop misleading and threatening our people,” it cautioned.
Further, the NNC/FGN reaffirmed their stand to repose their total trust and support to the leadership of Zhopra Vero, Kedahge NNC/FGN: Hekhuvi Achumi, Kedallo NNC/FGN and in Senka Ao, President NNC in the achievement of the Naga goals and aspirations.
