Dimapur, October 22 (MExN): The Tatar Hoho of the NNC/FGN, held in Dimapur, has ‘elected’ Zhopra Vero as the Kedahge (President) and Hekhuvi Achumi as the Kedallo (Vice President).
They were elected in accordance with the laid-down provisions of the Yehzabo of Nagaland to take charge of office with immediate effect for a period of five years for the tenure 2024-2029, maintained press release from the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) Tatar Hoho Speaker Rukulhu Phuswuo and Secretary Rukuto Rhakho.
The meeting was attended by the Council of Kilonsers, Tatars, Midan Peyus, NNC Representatives, and high-ranking Naga Army officials, it claimed.
The Tatar Hoho, while congratulating Vero on his election to the highest post of the NNC/FGN, reaffirmed its unconditional support for his leadership as the representative of the NNC/FGN to the NNPGs and his continued leadership as the Co-Convener of the WC of NNPGs, it added.
