Kohima, August 9 (MExN): The Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) along with the people will be “commemorating the Platinum Jubilee of our Nation” on August 14, 11AM onwards at Chedema Village Ground.
This is reminder to a previous clarion call "Calling All Fellow Nagas" on June 11 to celebrate the day, stated a press release issued by Capt (Retd) Yirei Lungleng, Kilonser of Rali Wali, FGN.
Gen (Retd) Viyalie Metha, Kedahge of the FGN will unfurl the Naga National flag and address the Naga Nation in accordance with the provisions of the Yehzabo (Constitution) of Nagaland during the celebration, it informed.
“All the fellow Nagas are cordially invited to participate in the function and commemorate this great Day of our Nation together,” it added.
