NNPGs Working Group dialogues with concerned Nagas

DIMAPUR, MAY 20 (MExN): In the spirit of openness and dialogue a group of concerned Naga individuals had an interaction with the leaders of the Working Group of the Naga National Political Groups (NNPGs), which includes the GPRN/NSCN, NSCN (R), NNC (Parent Body), NNC/NPGN and the NNC/GDRN.

A press note from the Working Group stated that while discussing a wide range of pressing concerns facing the Naga people, the meeting “acknowledged the personal sacrifices of the leaders.”   In the interest of the shared Naga future, the meeting recognized the need for all leaders to transcend their self-interests and put aside their “ego” problems, to erase the hurts of the painful past and create an inclusive and respectful space so that the Naga people’s political and historical rights can be collectively pursued in a transparent, realistic and practical manner.

The Working Group was led by its convenor N. Kitovi Zhimomi along with co-convenors Y. Wangtin Naga, V. Nagi, Hozheto and Kiumukam. Whereas, the individuals who attended the meeting included Dr P Ngully, Dr Rosemary Dzüvichü, Dr PS Lorin, Dr Visier Sanyu, Dr Pangernungba Kechu, Dr Ellen Jamir, Dr Lanusangla Tzudir, Dr Salikyu Sangtam, Kevidezo Peter Rutsa, G.
