Dimapur, November 19 (MExN): The seven member delegation of the Nagaland National Pension System Government Service Employees Forum (NNPSGSEF), led by Spokesperson Avizo Nienu and Finance Secretary Adabe Namgi attended Jayghosh maha rally at Jantar Mantar Delhi on November 17.
Adabe Namgi, who spoke at the rally representing Nagaland at the All India rally, expressed solidarity and extended support to the All India National Pension System Employees Federation(AINPSEF) in the fight for the restoration of the old pension systems.
He said that with the introduction of NPS and UPS, the future of Government employees is at stake and they have no future. He therefore appealed to the government of India to reintroduce the Old Pension system for the benefit of all citizens.
Seven members of the delegation include district officials from Nagaland.
The day-long rally was attended by almost all states of India and their representatives delivered a speech supporting and appealing to restore OPS to government employees.
