Kohima, September 24 (MExN): The Nagaland National Pension System Government Service Employees Forum (NNPSGSEF) has decided to stand in solidarity with the All India State Government Employees Federation (AISGEF) and participate in the ‘National Protest Day’ scheduled for September 26. The Confederation of All Nagaland State Service Employees Association (CANSSEA) will also join in support and participate in the protest outside the Nagaland Civil Secretariat, Kohima, from 11 AM to 1 PM. The NNPSGSEF and CANSSEA informed this in a letter to the Nagaland Chief Secretary on September 24.
According to reports, the AISGEF has announced that the ‘National Protest Day’ is against the Unified Pension Scheme and the New Pension Scheme while demanding the restoration of the Old Pension Scheme.
