No change of guards in BJP Wokha unit

Wokha, October 20 (MExN): The BJP unit Wokha at its recently concluded executive meeting resolved that there will be no change of guards in the unit. The 7th executive meeting of the Wokha District BJP was held on October 19 at the residence of Yibomo Patton with Subenthung Kithan, Vice President BJP Nagaland as Special Guest.  

During the meeting the party adopted the following Resolution: to give full support and cooperation to Temjen Imna Along, State BJP President and his team for upliftment of party from booth level to higher level. The unit also agreed to work together to strengthen the party under the guidance and advice of Y Patton deputy CM; and Mmhonlumo Kikon, Advisor.  

In order to avoid the demoralization and ensure the smooth functioning of the party, the unit also agreed that there will be no change of guards in Mandals, Frontals and District officials at present.  

According to a press release issued by BJP Wokha President Meribemo Kinghen and media secretary M James Tungoe, the meeting was attended by office bearers and executives of the District, State executive members representing the district, the four Mandal President and all the Frontal president and general secretaries.  

The meeting began with an invocation prayer by M James Tungoe, secretary, BJP Wokha which was followed by the welcome address delivered by Meribemo Kinghen, president, BJP Wokha and short speech by Senka Jami, President, State Kisan Morcha. The special guest exhorted the gathering. Nchumbemo Jami, general secretary BJP Wokha made a presentation on the organization report which was followed by reports of all mandals and frontal organization. Z Mhomo Humtsoe delivered the vote of thanks and the benediction was pronounced by Renbenthung Ngullie, president BJP 37th Mandal.
