DIMAPUR, JAN 14 (MExN): Nagaland Lok Sabha Member of Parliament W Wangyuh Konyak has said that although there are three factions in Nagaland, none can assure any solution and the State government, including him, are only facilitators between the Centre and the contending parties or groups. He was speaking at Chingkao Chinga Village under Mon district during the inaugural function of the Village Council hall constructed under the Border Area Development Program. “He also assured that he would be the last person to sign any agreement since he was directly elected by the people of Nagaland to represent them on the parliament at New Delhi,” a release said.
The MP encouraged the people of Mon to make use of the abundant land resources. Wangyuh also inaugurated a Ground, Chingkao Compound where he highlighted the fact that for the first time since Nagaland’s inception as a state, Mon district has been rewarded with various funds. He called upon the people to utilize the funds prudently. The MP was accompanied by Party leaders and numerous dignitaries belonging to Mon district.
