No heavy vehicles on Mkg-Mariani road

Kohima, February 26 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner Limawabang Jamir on Wednesday informed that movement of heavy vehicles along the NH 702D (Mokokchung-Mariani road) will be restricted.

In a notification issued through the DIPR, the DC stated that heavy vehicles (6 wheelers) with tonnage below 12 tonnes would be allowed to ply along the route.  

Directing law enforcement agencies to strictly comply with the directives, the DC informed that defaulters will be penalized as per the provisions of the Law.
