DIMAPUR, JANUARY 24 (MExN): Voicing out against the prolonged delay in payment of salaries, the Nagaland SSA Teachers Association, Kiphire Unit on Thursday said the inordinate delays and failure of the state government to make these payment is causing untold sufferings and hardships to the aggrieved teachers and its families.
In a press release, the SSA teachers of Kiphire district said the whole issue of non-payment of salaries besides other issues is not new to the government. It wondered how the government wishes to transform the future of education in Nagaland when it does nothing to ensure that teachers’ salaries are processed and paid on time.
Urging the government to resolve the issue without any more delays, the SSA teachers cautioned that it has no more patience left and any more delay will compel them to utilize all its resources to protest against the government by showing its strongest resentment.
