
Dimapur, May 17 (MExN): Nagaland reported zero new COVID-19 cases for the third consecutive day, according to data released by the state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme on Tuesday.
As per the IDSP data, 67 samples were tested in the last 24 hours with zero positivity. The samples were from Dimapur, Kohima, Mokokchung, Mon, Peren, Tuensang, and Wokha districts. The cumulative case count stands at 35,493 out of which there is one active asymptomatic case in Dimapur and 33,245 patients have recovered from the infection so far.
A total of 756 people have died due to COVID-19 while 4 others were categorised as ‘non Covid deaths (with COVID 19 positivity),’ as per the IDSP. Meanwhile, 1,487 patients have migrated to other states.
