Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee today denied that it had met Governor of Nagaland in a “political meeting” as claimed in local media reports on August 10. No political programs were made with the governor except obligatory constitutional protocol or courtesy at the Raj Bhavan, the NPCC said. A few of the Congress Legislature Party members had made a courtesy call on Union Minister Narayanasamy but it was not a “political meeting” as claimed but mere courtesy, the NPCC reiterated in a note from its general secretary of administration, today.
