Dimapur, June 19 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) cautioned the general public against falling victim to “Special Team” masquerading in and around Dimapur, who were allegedly intimidating general public by imposing fines in guise of checking anti-social activities.
“The general public is officially informed that there is no such ‘Special Team’ in the NSCN/GPRN as of now,” the Secretary Kilo Affairs NSCN (IM) M Daniel Lotha stated in a press release. “If spotted and confronted, one can contact 9436971965/9856071655 for clarification and necessary steps,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Secretary also cautioned against hiking fixed rate of “Labour Work Permit” of Rs. 150 and said that any official/staff of Kilo Affairs or authorised persons charging above the rate “shall be sternly dealt with.” The same can be conveyed to the aforesaid mobile numbers, it added.
