KOHIMA, SEPTEMBER 3 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education has informed that the State will not celebrate/observe this year’s Teachers’ Day in view of the declaration of seven days of national mourning by the Government of India due to the demise of Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India. A notice from the department however informed that Teachers’ Day messages from the dignitaries may be issued along with announcement of awardees through media.
