Dimapur, February 2 (MExN): The Konyak Union (KU) while condemning the ordeal incident and crime of January 31 has expressed its deepest condolence to the bereaved family of Late Bendangningsang Longkumer and Khriesavizo Metha. KU President Manlip Konyak and General Secretary Honang Konyak in a press release stated that the KU out rightly termed the incident as “unfortunate and doctored.” “Justice should not be delayed and preceding action should be initiated as per the law of the land. Hence, in tune with rest of the Nagas, the KU hereby declares that no ULB election shall be declared in those towns that fall within its jurisdiction unless or until rightful justice have been delivered to the Nagas,” the release added.
