Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan IAS, convened a meeting of all HODs and administrative officers under Dimapur district on January 18 for chalking out programme for the ensuing Republic Day celebration.
Due to the present pandemic situation, visits to institutions would not be permitted as per home department's direction, DC informed during the held in the DC’s conference hall.
A DIPR report stated that the DC Dimapur highlighted the instructions received from the Home Department with regard to guidelines to be followed during the celebration. Work distribution for seat arrangements, decorations, PA system, construction of welcome gate, law and order etc were assigned to concern departments.
The DC Dimapur urged upon all the departments for taking up the responsibilities assigned to them sincerely for ensuring successful celebration of the event.
Meanwhile, on behalf of Rotary Club Dimapur, President Chandu Agarwal informed that the club would be donating 1000 masks in the venue of celebration for use during the programme.
