New Delhi, October 4 (MExN): Noke Wangnao, Advisor for Social Welfare, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Nagaland with the department officials called on the Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi at Pt. Deendayal Antyodaya Bhawan, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi on October 4.
During the meeting the Advisor shared about the Minority Development activities taken place in the state so far, he also requested the Union Minister to extend more development for Minority Welfare in the state. In response to the Advisor’s request the Minister said that there are some schemes where the state can apply for it, also under the economic empowerment, the state can avail the benefit of soft loans for development in the state. Noke appraised the Union Minister for his concern for the minority in the state.
