Noklak, September 8 (MExN): Superintendent of Police, Noklak, Dr Pritpal Kaur Batra, IPS, Police department and Khiamniungan Menyiu Hoikam (KMH), headed by its President, Newkhai made contributions of 100 face masks, 71 face shields and 5 PPEs to Community Health Centre, Noklak on September 8.
The Medical Department of Noklak while expressing gratitude stated that the SP has donated her one month salary for all the materials required for PPEs, face masks, face shields in fighting against COVID-19 pandemic. The Medical Department also acknowledged the KMH president and members those who have spent sleepless night stitching PPEs, face mask, and face shields.
“The SP and President KMH have shown good examples to the people of Khiamniungan at this critical juncture of uncertainly due to COVID-19 pandemic as true mothers who care for their children. May this generous contribution open the eyes of Khiamniungan as the fight against COVID-19 can be achieved through collective efforts and contribution from every one,” stated Dr Chongya BL, Medical Officer and COVID-19 Nodal Officer, Noklak.
