Noklak, April 20 (MExN): Noklak District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held under the chairmanship of MLA & Chairman DPDB Noklak, P Longon at DC's Conference Hall, Noklak on April 20.
A DIPR report stated that being the first DPDB meeting after assuming as chairman of DPDB Noklak, P Longon requested all members to be regular in the meeting and called upon all members to co-operate with each other for the upliftment of the district.
“Although Noklak is a new district where there is a shortage of Officers and staffs in the various departments,” he urged “all to work tirelessly for the betterment and welfare of the people.”
The meeting discussed on setting up of Treasuries/Sub-Treasuries Office at Noklak District hq which was approved and recommended to the concerned department. The house discussed on acquisition of land for setting up of Helipad at Noklak town which was approved and apprised to the department.
Up-gradation of GHS, Noklak Village to GHSS, School building construction at GPS, Kingpao village, Construction of School building at GPS, Pathso and Up-gradation of Union Mission School, Panso were also approved and recommended to concerned department.
The house also approved for construction of waiting sheet at Zinki River in between Thonoknyu-Kiphire and construction of pacca/metalled road from NH-155 to Thonoknyu Town under PMGSY.
