Noklak DPDB meeting highlights need for a college

Noklak, April 19 (MExN): The monthly District Planning & Development Board meeting of Noklak district, held on April 18, among others, discussed the need for urgent establishment of a college in the district.
On the human resources of the district, the house discussed the urgent establishment of a college in the district as it presently lacks one, stated a DIPR report.
It was approved and recommended by the concerned department, it said.
Meanwhile, the house also approved and recommended for recognition of Hanyuk village, the construction of staff quarters and security fencing of the health unit under the district, as well as starting of NST bus Service from Noklak to Thonoknyu via Nokhu, it added. Chairing the meeting, L Khumo DPDB chairman, Noklak& Advisor, Fisheries & Aquatic Resources, Evaluation, Economics& Statistic, urged all the members to be regular in DPDB meetings and requested them to share their views. He also requested the members to have a constructive debate.
As per the DIPR report, Vice-Chairman DPDB and Deputy Commissioner Noklak, Hiazu Meru briefed the house on the meeting held with NITI Ayog on the sustainable development goal of the district. Accordingly, he asked the concerned department to submit the various data on time and urged all the members to be serious in the DPDB meeting, the report said.
The DC also requested all the departmental officials to work hard as a team for the upliftment of the district, it added.
