Noklak, July 31 (MExN): A district level programme on Sampooranata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh organised by District Administration, Noklak under Aspirational Block Program was held at the Tourist Lodge, Noklak on July 30.
A DIPR report stated here that Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, P Mono Khiamniungan commended officers and frontline workers for their crucial role in the block’s successful campaign. He emphasised that the achievement was not due to any exceptional scheme but rather the collective hard work and dedication of the team. Citing Thonoknyu block as an inspiration, the DC acknowledged the tireless efforts of those who went beyond their call of duty to make the campaign a success.
Sub-Divisional Officer (C), Noklak, Vikhoto Richa highlighted the overview of Sampoornata Abhiyan campaign conducted between July and September 2024. As part of the campaign, the block reportedly achieved 100% saturation in five out of six key performance indicators.
The SDO stated that this steady progress was the result of consistent efforts across key sectors such as health, education, agriculture, financial inclusion and basic infrastructure. He briefed on the targeted activities which were undertaken to achieve saturation in core development indicators focusing on implementation and active role played by officials and frontline workers.
Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Noklak, Dr Victor highlighted the house-to-house survey covering all eligible and married couples. “Pregnancy tests were administered to all eligible women, these tests played a critical role in bringing the indicator coverage to 100%,” he said. The household survey and community outreach activities were conducted by health workers, he informed. Dr Victor emphasised that the house-to-house survey not only ensured saturation but also helped collect vital data to guide future health interventions in the block.
As part of the tuberculosis (TB) elimination efforts, the CMO stated that the health department is identifying suspected cases and collecting sputum samples for diagnosis. He emphasised the importance of early detection and timely treatment to prevent the spread of the disease. He expressed gratitude the entire team of frontline workers for their dedicated efforts in carrying out the campaign.
As part of the achievement under the Aspirational Block Program, block level officials and frontline workers were felicitated for their dedication and hard work in lifting the block to a higher rank.
