Dimapur, May 15 (MExN): As per the notification and guideline issued from the office of the ENSF, the United Sangtam Students’ Conference held a meeting on May 14 with the tribal apex body and area students’ union at the conference hall and decided to conduct Non-local Registration under Sangtam jurisdiction from May 19 to 25.
USSC President, Likhumba. Y while informing this in a press release added that all Non-locals under Sangtam jurisdiction are informed to submit all documents proof, ILP, PRC in photocopy attested by gazetted officers along with 2 (two) recent stamp size photograph at the Office Chamber on all days except Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Non-local ID card will be issued provided all criteria is fulfilled. A caption fee of 200 for fresh while 100 will be charged for renewal, 50 for provisional ID card (less than 6 months), 100 for provisional ID card (more than 6 months but less than 1 year), 50 for children below the age of 14 years (only registration) and 500 will be charged as fine (excluding fees) for those who failed to register/renewed during the given duration without valid reason.
The Conference while acknowledging the support and cooperation from district administration, police, tribal body, area students’ organization and public in the past has once again urged to keep the same spirit during the drive.
