
Chümoukedima, February 13 (MExN): On Day-II of the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 (NOPG 2024), Phek district led the medal tally with a total of 13 medals on February 13.
The medals comprised 7 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze, as per an update by the Nagaland Olympic Association.
Peren closely followed with 12 medals - 6 gold, 3 silver, and 3 bronze.
With more medals but lesser gold, Chümoukedima was placed third with a total of 18 medals - 5 gold, 8 silver, and 3 bronze.
Kohima stood in fourth place with 14 medals. On Day-II, the districts of Tseminyu, Noklak, and Zunheboto were yet to open their account.
The NOPG 2024 officially kicked off on February 12 and will conclude proceedings on February 17.
