Kenouzou Wolves, North Block Warriors win

Kenouzou Wolves and North Block Warriors registered wins on the second day of the 5th edition of 10 Northern Angami – 1 T-20 Bash 2017 at Kohima Village ground.
Playing the first match, Kenouzou Wolves defeated Middle Bayavü Lions by 4 wickets. Winning the toss, Middle Bayavü Lions elected to bat and set a target of 153 runs losing 7 wickets in 20 overs. Micheiltsho top scored with 49 runs while Kenouzou Wolves bowler Zhalepra claimed two wickets. Chasing the target, Kenouzou achieved it in the 19th over losing 6 wickets with Mghatovi scoring 60 runs. Middle Bayavu bowler Derhu claimed 2 wickets. Mghatovi was adjudged man of the match.
In the second match of the day, North Block Warriors defeated Lower L. Khel Vikings by 86 runs. Electing to bat, North Block scored 173 runs in 20 overs with Dietholetuo and Khriesavituo scoring 48 and 46 runs respectively; Lower L Khel’s Meren claimed 4 wickets. However, L Khel chasing the target were bundled out for 87 runs in 16.1 overs with Liren scoring 27 runs. North Block bowlers Khriesavituo and Kevihezo claimed three wickets each. Khriesavituo was adjudged man of the match.
