Our Correspondent Kohima | November 29 RS Challengers and Keyake-Phezoucha Pirates won full points in today’s matches of the 5th 10-Northern Angami-I T20 Bash at Ziekezou, Kohima Village Ground. In the first match of the day, Rokabozou-Sepfuzou (RS) Challengers beat Chedema Strikers by 49 runs. Batting first, Challengers put up a formidable score of 172/6 in 20 overs with Nyuyhenlo scoring 43 runs. Kezhavizo claimed 3 wickets for the Strikers. In the run chase, the Strikers could only manage 123 in the allotted 20 overs losing 8 wickets with Keneiseso scoring 50 runs. Rishi claimed 3 wickets for Challengers but it was Imli who was the man of the match with 4 wickets and 33 runs. In the second match, Keyake-Phezoucha (KP) Pirates beat D Khel United by 62 runs. Electing to bat first, the Pirates scored 162/8 in 20 overs with Nipu contributing 29 runs while Thapusa chipped in with 22 runs. Akhrie claimed 2 wickets for D Khel. Chasing the target, the D Khel side fell short as they could only muster 100 runs losing 9 wickets in the 20 overs.
