Northern Sumi Hoho 'firmly' stands with NFHRCC

Dimapur, August 19 (MExN): The Northern Sumi Hoho (NSH) urged the government to exercise its “commitment and show its sincerity to the people by at least making pliable of Foothills road” (Trans Nagaland Expressway).

A press release from the President, Kughavi Chophy and General Secretary, Vikai Yeptho further reminded the State Government that the Hoho “stand firmly with the ultimatum served by NFHRCC whatever the consequences might be.”

Since its inception of Foothills road project, the State Government has failed “its order to implement in sprit,”it maintained.

The recent border issue with our neighbouring state has made it “crystal clear” that those living in border areas will be deprived from many ways, it added.

The Hoho further expressed its appreciation to the Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) for their continued effort “considering all the inconveniences to implement into reality for the people living in border areas and welfare of the state.”
