The winners of Nepali Gospel Singing Competition Voice Hunt Season-VII and others on November 10.
Chümoukedima, November 11 (MExN): The one-day Nepali Gospel Singing Competition Voice Hunt Season-VII organised by Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima Town Youth Department was conducted with five finalists performing at the competition on November 10.
The winners of the Nepali gospel Voice Hunt S-VII were as follows: first prize - Novin Gurung of Nepali Baptist Church Kohima; second prize - Philip of Gorkha Baptist Church Diphupar; third prize - Jyoti Pradhan of Nepali Baptist Church Sechü Zubza.
Voice Hunt Started since 2017 under the theme ‘Praise his name,’ the event is organized with a focus to inspire, enrich, and motivate the Christian Gorkha youths under Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland both spiritually and musically. This was the seventh time the NBC Chümoukedima Town youth department took the initiative of organizing singing competitions for Christian Gorkha singers across Nagaland, stated a press release received here.
The programme was graced by Roselyn Masudong, who in her speech encouraged the Gorkha Churches under Nagaland to praise God through their music talents. She also urged the Gorkha Churches Youths to be rooted in Christ. The Voice Hunt S-VII included a special performance from Cloud of Glory Worship Team NBC Chümoukedima Town.
