
DIMAPUR, APRIL 1 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee has revealed information, which it said pointed to “misutilization” of funds by Lok Sabha MP, CM Chang and Rajya Sabha MP, Khekiho Zhimomi, with regard to implementation of Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) for Nagaland state. A press note from the NPCC Grievance Cell stated that various discrepancies were also detected with no proper work order, APR, enclosed photographs. It stated that “mismanagement and biased attitude” of the leadership has deprived the state of deserved development process.
NPCC informed that, with regard to the Lok Sabha MP, the Government of India had sanctioned Rs 1400 Lakhs during the period from 2009-10 to 2012-13. Out of this, as per the NPCC report, an amount of Rs 1395.5 Lakhs was spent on the various districts of the state. For the Rajya Sabha MP as well, the GoI had sanctioned an amount of Rs 1400 Lakhs for the period from 2009-10 to 2012-13. The NPCC also furnished a report of the amount of funds spent from the funds on the various districts of the state. (See table)
