DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 13 (MExN): The Public Grievances Department of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has extended its full support and co-operation towards the movement started by the Chang Students’ Conference demanding for rights of Sao Chang College students. The NPCC PGD reminded the government that there is only one government college in whole of Tuensang, Noklak and Shamator districts; therefore the issue of 4 outdated buses and the horrible road condition of 7 Km stretch cannot be ignored/delayed any further. The government has forced the aggrieved students to go for shutting down the only college which in turn affects the careers of students, a press release from the NPCC-PGD said. It added that the college is functioning without a principal and lack many subject lecturers. It further stated that this is a reminder to the government to immediately take necessary initiatives to correct the irregularities.
