NPCC condemns June 5 assault on Nagas in Gujarat

DIMAPUR, JUNE 9 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has condemned the physical assault meted on two Nagas at Chanakyapuri, Gujarat on June 5 and vowed that it will not stand against any hate crime and injustice towards its people. 

In a press statement, NPCC president S Supongmeren Jamir termed the incident as an absolute disgrace to the ethos of diverse India and called on fellow Naga brothers and sisters to come together and show unity and strength until justice is brought. 

The NPCC also applauded the Gujarat Naga Student Union for their quick response to the situation and being there as a figurehead should.
