NPCC expresses concern over prolonged IAS induction deadlock

Kohima, November 6 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) on Wednesday expressed deep concern over the prolonged deadlock between the Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) on IAS induction and the State Government, which has led to near paralysis of governance and caused inconvenience to the general public.

The JCC comprises the Confederation of All Nagaland State Service Employees’ Association (CANSSEA), Federation of Nagaland State Engineers Service Association (FONSESA), Nagaland In-service Doctors’ Association (NIDA), Nagaland Secretariat Service Association (NSSA), and Nagaland Finance and Accounts Service Association (NF&ASA).

In a statement, the NPCC emphasised the importance of meritocracy and fairness, while recognising the right of public servants to express grievances. The party called on both the JCC and the Government to explore all avenues of dialogue and arrive at a speedy, equitable, and transparent resolution, warning that continued deadlock disrupts essential public services.

The NPCC urged both parties to prioritise public welfare and restore normalcy in governance and service delivery in the greater interest of the citizens of Nagaland.
