NPCC flays DAN

DIMAPUR, nov 28 (MExN): “……Emotionally thundering commitment everywhere but no rain followed…..” said K.L. Chishi while addressing about Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland during the recent Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) tour to Kohima District Congress Committee on November 25 at Congress Congress Conerence Hall Kohima.

Ridiculing the equi-closeness policy of the DAN government, he also added that the present government is too close to all the factions that in order to avoid displeasing them they are allowed to kill each other everyday in front of their eyes.

Talking about peace, he said that real peace should prevail; peace among the people, peace among the factions and peace between Indians and the Nagas. Without peace there cannot be development and without development there will be no progress.

Chishi further added that congress stands for peace but not the kind of peace which is prevailing in our state but the peace under which everyone feels free and prosper.

He also added, “It was ridiculous to talk about integration when we cannot even put the small state of Nagaland in order”.

Nyemnyei Konyak, Vice President NPCC advised the party workers while speaking to the gathering to work confidently for the party as congress is the only permanent party in the state having its base firmly rooted on the Majority of the people that sooner or later those that left us would return.

Yamukam MLA apprised the meeting about his rise in the political field and also the situation at his district which went from bad to worse after DAN came to power.

K.V. Pusa, MLA and one of the most senior congress leaders of the District spoke on the occasion on behalf of the district articulated on the misuse of public money and the bankruptcy of the DAN government and added that Therie cannot exonerate the government of its misdeed.

Earlier during the meeting Seyiekoulie, Ex-Minister also delivered an exhortation while Medokul MLA delivered the vote of thanks. The meeting was chaired by Vilhouzhalie, President KDCC.
