NPCC questions Social Welfare Dept on difference in GoI sanctioned fund 

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 2 (MExN): The Public Grievances Department of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has written to the Department of Social Welfare, Nagaland with regard to the press release issued by the latter on September 24 in regard to the “difference of figure amount” sanctioned by the Government of India for construction of One Stop Centre for 11 districts as replied in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly starred question no 6 dated February 2, 2021 by the Minister in charge.” The NPCC in its letter to the Commissioner and Secretary, Social Welfare said that there is a difference in amount of Rs 5,49,39,113 out of the Rs 11,36,20,880 sanctioned by the Government of India. It asked the department to “reply within 15 days” adding that “failure to comply will compel” the party to take up the issue with the appropriate authority.
