DIMAPUR, JULY 9 (MExN): A Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) team led by its president S Supongmeren Jamir visited Wokha District Congress Committee on July 7 and held a closed door meeting with the DCC officials, Wokha on the ongoing welfare schemes and development works in the district. Informing this, the NPCC in a press release said it appealed to all the concerned departments that the undergoing projects should not be neglected or abandoned but be completed on time.
While acknowledging the humanity schemes of the social welfare department concerning old age pensions and disabilities schemes, the NPCC urged the concerned department to release their schemes to beneficiaries on time. The NPCC and DCC officials also gave a courtesy call to DC & SP Wokha and assured the administration that Congress is ready to give full co-operations for any work, which is for the welfare of the citizens.
