Kohima, September 13 (MExN): Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) Vice President Vetetso Lasuh was passed away on September 13.
Vetetso Lasuh, popularly known as V. Lasuh, was also a member of DISHA, Ministry of Urban Development, Government of Nagaland
The funeral service took place at Thetsumi village in Phek district this afternoon.
Meanwhile, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) mourned the sudden demise of Vetetso Lasuh and described him as an exemplary leader and dedicated Congress member who served the party with unwavering commitment and was serving as Vice President, NPCC, at the time of his demise.
“His contributions to the party will always be cherished,” NPCC stated in a condolence message.
Vetetso Lasuh played a pivotal role in the party's early endeavours into the state in 1982 by entering the election fray from 17-Chizami A/C as the Congress candidate.
“His absence will be deeply felt, and the void he leaves behind will be difficult to fill, the NPCC stated adding that “his legacy will continue to inspire and guide us.”
The NPCC offered condolences to his family and loved ones and prayed the Almighty to bless his soul and grant him eternal rest.
