Dimapur, December 4 (MExN): Dimapur based NPF Central and Frontals office bearers’ today observed an advent Christmas celebration.
The celebration, hosted at the resident of Shingnyu Khiam Ex-MLA and Vice President NPF Central, Burana Bazar B, was observed with warmth and gaiety, NPF Media & Press Bureau said in a press release.
The programme was presided by TL Merry, Press Secretary, NPF Media & Press Bureau and started began with invocation by Pedse Shingyu while General Secretary NPF Central Nchumo Kikon welcome the members.
Exchanging brief festive greetings and participating in the discussion hour, the main theme of the speakers focused on a united, cohesive team method of striving in upholding and promoting the party programmes and responsibilities, it said.
Members were all praise for Nchumo Kikon GS, Shingnyu VP and Toshila Sangtam and Hetoli Achumi, General Secretaries; Women wing Central for their successful preparation of the advent Christmas, it added.
Meanwhile, with the intention to address all responsibilities with pragmatism, it was also decided to resume the ‘chain get together’ of Dimapur based NPF Central office bearers that was in practice when TL Merry VP was in charge Dimapur Division.
In this connection, Basu Damani volunteered to host the next get together meet, with Mahendra Thaosen, Working President, Minority Wing, NPF Central, Pushika Awomi, Asso. Press Secy. and Press Officer to CM and Ex-MLA Atovi Sumi and others in waiting, the release added.
The programme concluded a mass prayer.
