DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 8 (MExN): The Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) today extended “wholehearted support” to the party President, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu and Nagaland State Chief Minister, TR Zeliang. A press note from the NPF media and press bureau stated that the “people are stakeholders of the NPF, and at the same time, people are the assets and strength of this grand old regional political party.” Its stand to support the present leadership, the NPF stated, has been made “keeping alive the fire of relentless endeavor to work for the preservation of traditional values and culture with a view to retain the heritage of our society as handed down from our ancestors in which every Naga is responsible for one another, and keeping in mind, the responsibility to uphold the principles of non-violence for resolving all conflicts through peaceful means.”
