
Kohima, February 28 (MExN): The Naga People’s Front, Kohima Division has lamented the Central Government for scrapping the Free Movement Regime (FMR). The executive body of NPF Kohima Division during a consultative meeting held on February 28 at the NPF Central Office Kohima resolved to urge upon the Government of India to hear the cry of the people and immediately revoke its decision on FMR.
The Resolution Committee Convenor Gonei-u Sirie and NPF Kohima Division President Neisakuolie Rutsa in a press release said that it resolved to uphold the leadership of the President, Apong Pongener and Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, Leader of the NPF Legislature Party. It also resolved to extend its fullest support to the leadership of NPF and its decision and wisdom for the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024.
The Kohima Division will actively start gearing up for the preparedness of the coming Municipal Election and assert to fill candidates to the Kohima Municipal area as many as it can, it stated. The division also reiterated its fullest support and to deliver its “loyalty towards the party and pro-actively works for the interest and welfare of the people.”
