KOHIMA, APRIL 24 (MExN): The NPF Kohima Division said it was dumbfounded by the “immature statement and allegations” made by Congress and INC candidate for Lok Sabha Election 2014, KV Pusa.
A press release from Vitsorel Lcho, Legal Advisor, and, Theyiekielie Tachü, President, NPF Kohima Division, reminded the state Congress party that on April 10, the three-member Scrutiny Committee for LS Polls in Nagaland, which include Returning Officer and the two General Observers deputed by the Election Commission had scrutinized documents and reports provided by the Presiding Officers and Micro Observers, which were duly counter signed by the Polling Agents of the respective candidates.
“There is not an iota of truth that NPF Ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries were indulged in malpractice on the poll day in their respective assembly constituencies because it is under the NPF-led DAN government that Nagaland has been witnessing most peaceful, free and fair elections,” NPF Kohima Division stated.
