IMPHAL: The Naga People's Front (NPF), Manipur State, deplored the Congress led Manipur government under the leadership of O. Ibobi Singh for the alleged lack of long term policies in all fronts related to the welfare of Manipur public. NPF, Manipur State general secretary Athuan Abonmai said in a statement that due to inefficient governance by the present Congress government in Manipur, the general public suffered enough. Scarcity of food, fuel and other basic essentials has become a daily affair, stated NPF. The present problem suffered by the public, particularly the poor people due to scarcity of water is an ample example of misgovernance, NPF pointed.
The NPF Manipur State also condemned the racial attack on a tribal officer by MD. Abdul Nasir, Manipur Agriculture minister.
